THE ROLE
CSR have an exciting opportunity in our Logistics Department for a Transport Planner / Scheduler to join our team in Ingleburn - NSW.
Supporting CSR's transport transformation strategy to implement an agile delivery system & centralised transport team you will be tasked with utilising CSR's SAP Transport Management System (TMS) to better route plan, schedule and optimise transport, delivering reliable and efficient solutions (safety, service & cost) for our business and ultimately our customers.
The hours of working are Monday to Friday 11am - 7pm.

**Your role will include the following**:
**Strategic Transport Planning**: Execute daily optimized centralized transport planning, including route modelling and scheduling, to meet the demands of all our brands in the specified region.

**Innovative Solutions Development**: Utilise system-based operational planning to create and implement innovative transport solutions that enhance safety, service quality, and cost efficiency.

**Collaborative Transformation**: Collaborate with CSR Business Unit Logistics teams Logistics team, Transformation project teams and transport partners to carry out substantial changes across the transport network, driving both transformational and commercial success.

**Issue Resolution and Optimisation**: Work closely with CSR Business Unit Logistics teams and external transport partners to promptly address operational or issues, ensuring safety, cost-effectiveness, and customer service are maintained at high standards.

**Risk Management and Remediation**: Develop comprehensive risk mitigation plans and solutions to address transport challenges, inventory shortages, and any unexpected site execution issues.

**Best-Practice Implementation**: Adhere to standardised operational and system-based processes to ensure the delivery of best-practice transport processes across CSR

For a successful career in this role, you should ideally possess proficiency in transport management systems; operational experience and transport processes, compliance, and planning; transport industry acumen, including a solid grasp of the relevant legislative and regulatory requirements in each jurisdiction within the region. Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in handling bulky goods or building materials, would be highly advantageous.
