What does the job look like?

The Linfox Consumer and Healthcare Group provide innovative and industry leading warehousing and distribution services for diverse retail and manufacturing businesses across Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee warehousing and distribution activity within a dynamic facility in Bentley, an ideal opportunity for a dedicated supply chain professional who shares and can deliver our vision of operational excellence.

Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, you will be well positioned to ensure operational and financial metrics are achieved and we continue to deliver on our commitment to our highly valued and long-term customer. Through a collaborative approach to management, utilisation of equipment and innovation of processes you will make an immediate impact with the close-nit team. Key areas:

- Implement initiatives to ensure cost is controlled, profit maximized and customer objectives are met
- Proactive relationship management with customer, including performance reviews, ensuring issues are investigated and resolved
- Formulation and monitoring of appropriate KPI’s to maintain the optimal warehousing and distribution performance
- Deliver productive outcomes through the utilisation of warehouse resources and frontline engagement and collaboration with our people
- Promoting safety-first standards and ensuring commitment to Safety, COR and Quality requirements

Are you the one?

You are a manager who can demonstrate effective decision making and people leadership within a fast-paced warehousing environment. You will rely on your commercial, operational and customer service capability to ensure operational efficiency is maintained and customer contractual obligations achieved. You can demonstrate:

- Experience providing warehousing or logistic solutions in a complex supply chain environment
- Financial and commercial acumen with a great eye for analytics
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining high-performance teams and culture
- Influential with a variety of stakeholders with an ability to provide detailed and accurate analysis, budgeting, resource allocation and capital plans to ensure operational efficiency
