**What you'll be doing**

Responsibilities of this position are to assist the Heart Failure / Transplant Cardiologist in the pre and post-Transplant assessment and care of patients with severe heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, advanced heart disease, temporary and durable mechanical circulatory support and cardiac transplantation.
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Completion of atleast 4 years full time postgraduate experience and demonstrated commitment to Cardiology Advanced Training program.
- Advanced verbal, written and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with other health professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills, judgment and expertise
- Demonstrated teamwork, time management and problem solving skills as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and computer skills.
- Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the philosophies, Mission and Values of the Mary Aikenhead Ministries.
