Flooring Installer

Oversee final inspection and completed look of a variety of floors.
- Prepare quotes for customers by measuring areas or checking floor plans to determine the quantity of floor covering required for each job; liaising with carpenters as need.
- Clearing and preparing the area to lay flooring by removing baseboard trims, ensuring the surface is smooth and clean, and affixing any underlay materials that may be required.
- Laying our full range of floor coverings; such as wool or synthetic carpets, linoleum, parquetry blocks, cork tiles, vinyl and/or timber flooring and other
- Ensuring tiles are laid so that patterns match, that shapes are cut out around fixtures and doorways.

**Qualifications/ Technical & Specialist Skills/ Experiences**:

- Proven working experience in floor laying or finishing or a Certificate III or equivalent in floor finishing or another related field.

**Salary**: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
