**Position Overview**:
As an IT Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance, implementing solutions, and supporting clients in their IT infrastructure and networking needs. Your deep understanding of Mac OS and network technologies will play a critical role in delivering effective solutions and ensuring smooth operations for our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide level 3 technical support and consulting services to clients regarding their Mac OS environments and network infrastructure, focusing on Barracuda technologies.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' IT systems, identify areas for improvement, and propose appropriate solutions to optimize performance, security, and scalability.
- Design, implement, and manage Mac OS environments, including deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and execute network strategies, including architecture design, configuration, and optimization, leveraging Barracuda solutions to enhance network security, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with clients' IT teams to understand their business goals, translate requirements into technical specifications, and deliver tailored solutions that align with their objectives.
- Perform network audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Provide training and guidance to clients' IT personnel on Mac OS best practices, network management, and Barracuda technologies, ensuring efficient use and maintenance of systems.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Mac OS, network technologies, and Barracuda products, incorporating them into the consulting process and recommending relevant upgrades or enhancements.
- Assist with pre-sales activities, including participating in client meetings, conducting demonstrations, and preparing proposals and cost estimates for IT projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant certifications (such as Apple Certified Support Professional and Barracuda Network Security Engineer) are highly desirable.
- Proven experience as an IT Consultant or in a similar role, preferably with at least 3-5 years of experience in Mac OS environments and network infrastructure, with a focus on Barracuda technologies.
- Strong expertise in Mac OS administration, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Extensive knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and other network security technologies, with specific experience in implementing and managing Barracuda solutions.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve performance issues and security vulnerabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and provide innovative solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, understand their requirements, and deliver tailored solutions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality of work.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and security trends.
- Flexibility to travel to client sites as required.
