**About the Role**:
- Applications are invited for eligible medical officers to join our 2024 Paediatric team at Mercy Health (Werribee Campus).
- These are twelve (12) month positions commencing on 6th February 2024.
- Mercy Health has a number of HMO (PGY2+) Paediatric positions suitable for those applicants who have obtained their General Registration with AHPRA.
- Mercy Health offer a supported environment where Senior Medical Staff make an effort to know you personally and our HMO education program comprises weekly education session, incorporating simulation workshops and case based education sessions.
- Mercy Health offers the following as part of our Paediatric position;.
- Paediatric, SCN and outpatient exposure
- Excellent supportive environment
- Outstanding teaching program including simulation
- Job share and part time positions will be considered
- Hospital Medical Officers (PGY2+) positions are offered through direct recruitment by Mercy Health.
- Australian Trained (Permanent Resident) Graduate of a Victorian Medical Faculty
- Australian Trained (Permanent Resident) Graduate of an Interstate Medical Faculty
- Temporary Resident Medical Graduate of a Victorian Medical Faculty
- Temporary Resident Medical Graduate of an Interstate Medical Faculty
- Australian Medical Council Graduate (who has obtained Permanent Residency and is completing the requirements for (or currently holds) General Medical Registration in Australia)
- New Zealand Medical Graduates (Permanent Resident or International full-fee student)
- International Medical Graduate (Australian Permanent Resident) who will complete 12 months of workplace based assessment at an Australian hospital (Competent Authority Pathway)
**About You**:
- Hold general registration as a medical practitioner by commencement of 2024 Clinical Year
- Equipped with excellent communication skills and promote the Mercy Values of Compassion, Hospitality, Respect, Innovation, Stewardship and Teamwork.
- Enthusiastic and motivated to make a real contribution to the provision of high quality care to an ethnically diverse, rapidly growing community
- Interested in gaining Paediatric experience
