This position manages the Enterprise Architecture (EA) team and reports to the Director of Business Engagement.
We collaborate with frontline officers, corporate staff, project managers, other Agencies, suppliers and many more stakeholders to manage risks and exploit opportunities, aiming to maximise the value of ICT investment.
Your key accountabilities
**The core capability requirements for this role are**:

- Lead the development, maintenance and implementation of Enterprise Architecture to support and influence ICT enabled business change and related ICT planning and investment decisions. Develop target state enterprise architecture and transition plans that help to define the ICT work plan and guide ICT investment decisions. Develop comprehensive strategy responses, briefs, submissions, presentations, reports, information papers and artefacts to influence the development of enterprise architecture and related project, ICT planning and investment issues and decisions. Develop and review architectural blueprints, capability roadmaps, standards and directions; conduct feasibility studies and options analysis to support strategic business case development, ICT procurement and implementation. Provide critical well-informed advice, over a range of topics influencing the effectiveness of the organisation's business, information and ICT systems with the aim of optimising service costs through the implementation of innovation. Develop and maintain strong stakeholder support for enterprise architecture with stakeholder groups, including senior management and ICT professionals, facilitate open communication, capture and disseminate business and technical information to stakeholders.

Role Requirements
Highly Desirable
- TOGAF certification
- Ability to establish enterprise architecture practice within an enterprise
- Minimum 5 years consulting experience at an enterprise level including business and information architecture
- Excellent communication ability, written and verbal
- Experience in relation to managing team performance and building capability

Desirable
- ITIL v3, PRINCE2 and Managing Successful Programs
