**scouted.** have partnered with a Private Developer & Investment Manager who have a dedicated focus on the growing BTR market. The core strategy of this group revolves around the development and management of Built to Rent projects across the Eastern Seaboard market of Australia. As a testament to this platform and its leadership, this group is supported by an Institutional Capital Partner who has committed significant funding to the strategy, with additional Capital Raising efforts as part of the strategy moving forward.

With an already established pipeline of over 1000+ units, this group has an ambitious growth target in their line of sight. This role will be a key figure in the org structure in driving this growth strategy through acquisitions and capital partnerships, and ultimately as projects move into operational phase, a true Investment Management role will take shape in the form of managing and reporting on the performance of the assets.

**The Role**:
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and executing investment opportunities that align with the company's overall investment strategy. The Investment Manager will work closely with the senior management team and other stakeholders to analyse potential investments, negotiate deals, and manage the investment process from start to finish.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough research and analysis of potential investment opportunities in the real estate market, including market trends, financial statements, and property valuations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, investors, and other stakeholders in the real estate industry.
- Create financial models and perform due diligence on potential investments, including analysing the risks and potential returns.
- Work with the senior management team to develop and implement investment strategies that align with the company's overall objectives.
- Negotiate and structure investment deals, including equity investments, joint ventures, and debt financing.
- Monitor and manage the performance of investments, including analysing financial statements, conducting market research, and identifying opportunities for value-add initiatives.
- Prepare and present investment reports to the senior management team and other stakeholders, including investment recommendations, financial analysis, and performance updates.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in property, valuations, finance, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate investment management or related field.
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with senior management and other stakeholders.
