**Job Title**: Delivery Driver

**Location**: Mahadeva’s Kitchen, Factory 16, 7-9 Linmax Court, Point Cook, VIC, 3030, Australia

**Job Type**: Part-Time (30-40 hours per fortnight)

**Shifts**: 6:30 AM to approximately 1:00 PM, Mondays and Fridays weekly, with alternating Wednesdays and Thursdays.

**Reports To**: Manager

Job Summary:
As a Delivery Driver at Mahadeva’s Kitchen, you are essential in ensuring timely, safe, and efficient delivery of premium vegan desserts to our esteemed clientele, which includes cafes, restaurants, and premium hotels. You represent our brand and uphold our reputation through every delivery and customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Product Delivery**: Safely transport and deliver products according to the delivery schedule, ensuring the security and pristine condition of the products throughout transit.
- **Customer Service**: Provide top-tier service during deliveries, embodying the company's standards of professionalism and attentiveness.
- **Vehicle Maintenance**: Conduct pre
- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness, including a monthly wash at a designated car wash. Ensure the van, which is provided in excellent condition, is kept that way.
- **Route Management**: Use the provided route management software to navigate and optimise delivery routes, preparing for common issues like traffic delays to ensure punctuality.
- **Operational Communication**: Use technology to maintain connection with the logistics team, manage customer feedback effectively, and report any delivery or vehicle issues.
- **Safety and Compliance**: Strictly adhere to traffic laws and safety protocols, manage emergencies or accidents with immediacy, and report accordingly. Any fines incurred while operating the vehicle will be the responsibility of the driver.

Personal Appearance and Hygiene:

- **Uniform**: You will be provided with three polo shirts as part of your uniform. These should be kept clean, ironed, and presentable at all times.
- **Grooming**: Maintain a professional appearance at all times. This includes being well-groomed, with hair neatly styled or tied back if long, and facial hair (if any) kept clean and tidy. Pride in appearance is crucial, reflecting the premium nature of our brand.
- **Presentation**: It is expected that you display professionalism through your attire and personal hygiene, ensuring you are always smart and presentable while representing Mahadeva’s Kitchen.

Qualifications:

- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence with the ability to operate a manual transmission van.
- Proven track record as a delivery driver with an excellent driving record.
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage early morning shifts and physical demands of loading and unloading deliveries.
