**Qualifications & experience**
- High school completion certificate + Telecommunication related education.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in performing installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of communications projects.
- Work experience in Australia is a must.
- An open telecommunication licence is not mandatory but welcome
- Ability to work in diverse and technically challenging fields
- Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively under pressure within a team environment.
- Other Licencing: Appropriate compliance tickets including White Card, Working at Heights Security License, Clear Driver License

**Tasks & responsibilitie**
- Installing, maintaining, repairing, and diagnosing malfunctions of the following systems: microwave, telemetry, multiplexing (muxing), de-multiplexing, satellite, radio and electromagnetic wave communication systems, and other on-site recording devices.
- Configuring and integrating network and telecommunications technology with computer software, hardware, desktops, peripherals, databases, and other operating systems.
- Verifying installations meet production acceptance standards.
- Identifying performance issues, interpreting trends (e.g., network traffic traces), and implementing improvements.
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on networking hardware, such as routers, IP switches, hubs, and modems.
- Developing and recording logs of the details, the status of inventories, parts, and equipment, and maintaining the documentation of communication policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations, and other ISO quality standards.
- Configuring Global Traffic Manager services and policies, providing technical advice and information, and monitoring the performance of telecommunications networks and other software and hardware-related systems; Planning the development of customer access telecommunications network infrastructure.
- Performing corrective and preventative maintenance on various satellite communication baseband and RF equipment, Accurately documenting network trouble reports in common trouble ticketing database.
- Developing procedures and technical documentation and the ability to produce technical system-specific documentation.
