**The role**:
- We're looking for a Workforce Planner to partner with our Service Delivery group for a fixed-term period of 6 months._
Reporting into the General Manager Service Delivery, this role will lead the development of workforce planning strategies and initiatives that enhance and optimise our workforce and deliver on our people's experience, whilst ensuring a workforce fit for the future.
In this newly developed role, you will:
- Understand the Service Delivery workforce intricately to develop a future strategy and scenario plan
- Develop and implement an end-to-end career pathway for our technical workforce
- Assist in the design of ‘technicians’ professional development forum
- Conduct and support configuration modelling, options analysis, impact assessments and rostering optimisation activities
- Use data and insights to interpret trends in the workforce to build strategies around retention, acquisition and talent development
- Enable talent mobility and skills alignment to strategically redeploy our workforce into higher demand areas
- Collaborate with People Operations to conduct succession planning for management and business critical roles in the group
- Conduct a capability gap assessment for critical areas of the group, with the aim of rebalancing resources or developing staff to fill the gaps.
**Who are you?**:
With a background in Human Resources or Workforce Planning, you're a people person who is passionate about developing data-driven strategy. Communication is a strength of yours, which shows in your proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with teams across the business, as well as with clients and stakeholders.
Your highly organised nature and ability to identify priorities allow you to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure. You have extensive experience in analysing workforce planning data by leveraging database and reporting systems available to you and can produce analytical performance reports for thoughtful decision making. Your strategic focus partnered with your investigative ability means you tackle problems with flexibility and initiative.
