The **Master Data Specialist** will provide strategic guidance and expertise in the management and optimisation of master data. Responsible for reviewing existing Master Data, Processes, Systems, and Interfaces to determine areas of opportunity and develop a future road map that ensures accuracy, integrity, and consistency of master data, enabling efficient business operations and informed decision-making.

By implementing effective master data management strategies, helps the organisation maintain high-quality data, streamline processes, improve data-driven insights, and drive overall operational excellence. The goal is to maximise the value of master data as a strategic asset, enhance data governance practices, and support the organisation in achieving its business objectives.

***In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Master Data Management (MDM): Develop and implement MDM strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data across the organisation.
- Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify data quality issues, anomalies, and inconsistencies, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and define data standards, governance policies, and processes for master data management.
- Review existing master data management systems, tools, and processes, and identify areas of opportunities.
- Develop and maintain data quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of master data management initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement data integration strategies and solutions to streamline data flows across various systems and platforms.
- Develop a future road map that ensures accuracy, integrity, and consistency of master data, enabling efficient business operations and informed decision-making.

***Skills & Experience Required**:

- Computer science, Information Management, Business Administration, or a related experience
- Proven experience as a Master Data Specialist, or a similar role, working with complex master data management projects.
- Strong understanding of master data management principles, concepts, and best practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis, data quality assessment, and data cleansing techniques.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify data quality issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
