**Countering Violent Extremism (CVE)**

**Location - **Long Bay and Hurstville

**Employment type - **Ongoing Full time 35 hours per week

**Salary - **$**120, 859 - $133,183pa, plus super and leave loading (Clerk Grade 9/10)

**Your role**

As a service manager in the Countering Violent Extremism unit, you will manage operational resources across CVE service teams. This includes the Proactive Integrated Support Model [PRISM] and Proactive Assessment and Intervention Service [PRAXIS] teams, to support the delivery of integrated and high-quality services to facilitate a reduction in re-offending and enhanced community safety.

**What you’ll do**

As part of the Countering Violent Extremism team

You’ll lead and develop staff whilst promoting a working environment that values teamwork, ethical behaviour, and high performance to achieve quality service delivery outcome and organisational objectives.

**What we’re looking for**

Thorough knowledge and understanding of the criminal justice system and contemporary best practice in offender management in Counter - Terrorism and Countering Violent Extremism

Strong leadership and effective management skills to engage and motivate the team of staff delivering intervention to client’s and the family or community support person. The Service Manager CVE is responsible for driving implementation and achieving the required service delivery outcome.

Ability to oversee caseloads, resourcing, workload management and quality assurance to ensure effective service delivery and quality standards are maintained consistent with CVE policy, procedure, guidelines and Service Delivery Standards and Key Performance Indicators.

Coach and mentor staff providing constructive feedback and facilitate ongoing professional development through a performance and development framework to actively contribute to a professional, empowering, and respectful culture.

Provide operational advice and support to CVE staff delivering interventions to meet service delivery outcomes in a consistent way.

Identify any issue impacting frontline service delivery or systemic areas for development and work closely with the CVE Leadership Team to address the issues and implement and monitor development activities.

Implement and monitor continuous improvement to ensure high quality service delivery and provide operational advice and reports on performance.

**Essential requirement**

Tertiary qualifications in a human service-related field (or equivalent experience in frontline human service delivery).

Current driver's licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle while performing the role. Travel requirement will vary.

Eligibility and willingness to obtain a National Security Clearance (NV1)
