About the role

Salvos Stores is seeking a proactive Offsider on a permanent full time basis reporting directly to the Transport Supervisor. Based in Noble Park, VIC this role is responisble for collecting and delivering goods and items for our stores operations in line with The Salvation Army Mission and Values.

You will sucessfully
- Assist the Truck Driver to collect goods from donor residences, places of work and other locations in accordance with guidelines in a safe, proffessional and timely manner
- Interact with donors in a manner aligned with donor care training
- Assist the Truck Driver to collect rubbish and other items from stores and warehouses and delover them to landfill centres and other locations in a safe proffessional and timely manner
- Take approproate care of Salvos Stores assets and equipment
- Ensure vehicles, warehouses and stores are maintained in a safe and clean condition
- Assist with an perform addditional tasks as required

You will have
- Experience in furniture removal roles or similar roles
- Demonstrated experience working in a customer facing role (highly regarded)
- Relevant licence to operate a counterbalance forklift (highly regarded)
- The willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- The willingness to undergo a Pre Employment Medical
