Balancing Technician

_Our client is a proud Western Australian private company with a national and international footprint, which provides a broad range of Project Management and Engineering solutions across a wide variety of Industry Sectors including Defence, Industrial, Mining, Marine, Oil & Gas, and Water Technology._
**The Balancing Technician’s prime objective is the “day to day” discharging of Dynamic Balancing duties as directed by your supervisor and in accordance with applicable standards and the client’s procedures with an emphasis on the quality and accuracy of the finished job and the efficiency at which these jobs are carried out.**
- **Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:_
- Carry out dynamic balancing operations as directed by the Workshop Manager, Project Manager or Supervisor
- Attend to the compilation of test data sufficient for accurate and meaningful reporting.
- Immediately advise any abnormalities in test results or any suspected non-conformance.
- Assist with the maintenance of effective communication throughout the balancing laboratory and help resolve problems and conflicts as required.
- Assist with keeping a clean and tidy workplace.
- Ensure on time completion of the balancing job and to a high standard.
- Follow all safety instructions and procedures.
- Ensure compliance at all times with company and client HSEQ standards and ensure accurate and timely completion of necessary HSEQ documentation Wear and maintain PPE provided.
- Report safety hazards and incidents immediately.
- Attend pre-start meetings.
- **Essential Criteria**:_
- Mechanical aptitude with workshop experience.
- Completion of training program for dynamic balancing.
- Competency in electric arc welding in carbon and stainless steel.
- Competency in the use of hand tools and power tools.
- **Desirable Criteria**:_
- Valid motor vehicle drivers’ licence (WA - A Class).
- White Card.
- Strong work ethic with proven work history.
- Positive and proactive approach to safety.
- Willingness to work overtime.
