Apprentice A Grade Electrician 4th year apprentice required to join our client who are a national, innovative manufacturer of metal and plastic packaging solutions for many of Australia’s major paint, food and aerosol brands. With over 65 years experience & operations in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea, they are well positioned to meet all customer requirements, whilst delivering a high quality product.

**The position requirements include but are not limited to**:

- General electrical maintenance & repairs
- Capital project works
- Continuous improvement tasks
- Mechanical fault finding, machine adjustments and basic fabrication tasks
- Strictly following all required safety and security procedures

**To be considered for this role you will ideally possess the following**:

- Be currently in the process of attaining your Electrical certification.
- Proven experience in a printing, or similar FMCG environment
- Proven experience with PLC’s, VSD’s, HMI’s etc.
- An understanding of GMP and 5S manufacturing principles
- A team player with a positive, self motivated and proactive attitude is essential
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with a high attention to details
- Flexibility to work extra hours and perform ad hoc duties as required

**Hours**
Day shift: 7:00pm - 3:00pm

**On Offer**
EBA Rates: $45 per hour + super + overtime
