At any given time, we may have a variety of primary, secondary and specialist teaching roles available across our 80 schools as well as non-teaching positions in schools and our central office that support the delivery of innovative learning and teaching to around 43,500 students.

**Your duties will include but are not limited to**:
- Qualified to teach the Religious Education curriculum
- Understanding of how to differentiate learning to cater for students needs in order to maximise student learning
- Sound understanding of the learning environments, lesson plans, use of technology, teaching practices and delivery of assessment and learning feedback
- Committed to the continual improvement of their teaching practice and take opportunities for personal professional development
- Work creatively and constructively within a range of 'communities' inside and beyond the school and set high, achievable goals for themselves and their students
- Able to motivate students to achieve and to develop a life-long love of learning
**Qualification & Experience**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Education
- NESA Accreditation
- Statements of Service
- Working with Children Check clearance (essential)
- Exceptional communication skills
**FIAT Qualifications**
- An understanding of Catholic identity for a culture of dialogue
- A strong commitment to the Catholic faith in practice and lifestyle, witness and modelling
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners
- Ability to work within, accompany and develop a team
- Category D Accreditation to Teach Religious Education (Provisional Category D Accreditation may be considered in consultation with the Director Mission or delegate)
- Develop a clear set of focus areas for the year in alignment with the strategic focus on Catholic identity in consultation with the Religious Education Coordinator - or equivalent - and school leadership
- Develop student formation opportunities that respond to the school & formation priorities, in collaboration with leaders and local church agencies as appropriate
- Be a credible witness of faith, committed to their own ongoing formation and guiding students in their faith journey
- Work within, accompany and develop a FIAT comprised of staff and students
- Encourage and develop student leadership in FIAT programs and events
- Establish clear communication strategies with school leadership to ensure FIAT’s integration and support within the wider school community
- Ability to work with outside agencies to develop prayer, social justice, and outreach opportunities
- Communicate FIAT initiatives within the learning community through regular reports for the school website or newsletter
- Participate in professional learning and formation networks for FIA Coordinators
- Develop a clear set of focus areas for the year in alignment with the strategic focus on Catholic identity in consultation with the Religious Education Coordinator - or equivalent - and school leadership
- Demonstrate an understanding of the diverse needs and backgrounds of the school community through the development of inclusive strategies related to FIAT
