Supply Officer

**_ The Role_**

1. Ensure the efficient operation of supply functions throughout the hospital, including loading and unloading deliveries, checking of goods, and receipting stocks into the system, within 24 hours of delivery

2. Liaising with staff members to collect parcels, replenishment of stores, restocking sub-stores with medical consumables, cycle counting, cataloguing raising purchase orders on suppliers, following up on back orders, replenish nutritional supplements, and delivering items to clinical areas.

3. Maintain safe supply and loading areas that are compliant with all relevant legislation and Lifehouse policies and procedures.

**_ Your Key responsibilities will include;_**
- Loading and unloading deliveries, checking of goods and receipting stock into the system within 24 hours of delivery.
- Quickly Identifying problems and discrepancies and solving issues.
- Traffic control of all dock movements
- Communicating with staff members to arrange collection of parcels, replenishment of stores, restocking sub-stores with medical consumables, cycle counting, cataloguing raising purchase orders on suppliers, following up on back orders, replenish nutritional supplements and delivering items to clinical areas.
- Comply with all relevant Lifehouse policies and procedures including Work Health and Safety
- Maintain clean and tidy loading and supply areas
- Reporting and documenting all incidents, near misses and risks using the online Incident Reporting and Management System
- Perform administration tasks and basic reporting as required.
- Assist stores-persons and handyman when required

**_To be successful in this role, you will need:_**

**_ Essential_**
- Previous experience in a hospital supply role
- Familiarity and aptitude with stock management systems, including computers and scanners
- Ability to establish good relationships with customers and staff, build a wide and effective network of contacts inside and outside the organisation, and relate well to people at all levels.
- Understand different organisational departments and functions
- Capable of achieving a consistently high level of process adherence and accuracy via standard operating procedures.

**_Desirable_**
- Previous experience in providing quality service to multiple organisations, preferably in a university or medical environment
- Knowledge of distribution or logistics and managed stock systems
- Good Communication skills with an excellent understanding of English language written and verbal
- Support companywide initiatives to improve service levels to our customers.
- Participate in the development of new systems and processes
- Be an Active functional member of the team, cooperation and input will be required in relation to team performance site growth and planning meetings
