Featuring cutting edge manufacturing technology, MPC2 (Materials Processing Centre) will be a world-leading recycling asset right here in Sydney. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a landmark project and what is set to become a significant asset in Australia’s push to recycle more and landfill less. MPC2 is BINGO’s biggest achievement to-date, with state-of-the-art systems and the latest in recovery, security, and safety technology.

Our waste sorting team are responsible for identifying and sorting recyclable materials along our processing lines and conveyor belts

**The role**:

- Eastern Creek location.
- Day and Afternoon shift available
- Identifying and sorting construction materials on a conveyor belt and directing to appropriate sections for processing
- Recyclable materials include bricks, cement, tiles, steel, and timber
- Assisting with the recovery of materials to be processed and resold as eco product
- Ensure the continued efficiency of the processing line by identifying and troubleshooting any issues, including line blockages and catch points
- Pre and post start checks
- Manual handling tasks including sweeping, raking, lifting and general cleaning
- Identify and raise concerns to ensure continued safety and environmental compliance

**What you bring**:

- Current drivers’ licence and own transport is highly preferable due to limited public transport options.
- Able to safely complete a range of physical and manual tasks
- Be happy to roll your sleeves up in a heavy industrial environment. It gets noisy It can get dusty
- Strong verbal and visual communication skills including being able to interpret safety signs.
