EHS Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to support our ANZ team.

This role is responsible for leading and working closely with all levels of the ANZ organisation to coach, influence and further embed the FMC safety culture.

**Role Overview**:

- This role is responsible for leading the development, implementation & review of the work, health and safety management system to ensure compliance with all State and Federal legislation in relation to the Work Health and Safety,
- x1 direct report HSE Advisor to coach, mentor & develop.
- Ensuring EPL and Trade Waste agreement and management according to license conditions.
- Development and maintenance of the sites OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 certified OHS and Environmental management system standards.
- Ability to support departments, consult and find solutions to issues and/or concerns.
- Monitoring and evaluating the workplace environment and employee health.
- Strict adherence with corporate and statutory HSE reporting, to internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing an Environmental Operator, with daily operations of effluent treatment system, solid waste streams and storm water first flush system,
- Developing and overseeing appropriate preventative maintenance in Environmental Department.
- Developing and conducting HSE training.
- Workers compensation and RTW plans.
- Internal HSE auditing, supporting site assessing and finding solutions to manage risk.
- Development of positive Safety Culture, through strong leadership and promotion of best practice safety performance and leadership.
