**About Our Client**:
Grains Research & Development Corporation (GRDC) invests in RD&E projects to create enduring profitability for the Australian grains industry. These investments drive the discovery, development, and delivery of world-class innovation.

The purpose of this role is to provide support to GRDC in developing technically appropriate grains RD&E investments that align with GRDC's purpose and act as the Coordinator of GRDC's National Grower Network (NGN).
- Provide analysis support (~50%) within GRDC that lead to grains RD&E investments across GRDC's Business Units (on a request basis through reporting Manager).
- Identify appropriate technical input into investment proposals which are consistent with SMART principles and have clearly articulated grower-focused deliverables.
- Contribute to technical assessment of milestone outputs to ensure RD&E partners are delivering against scope.
- Fulfil role (~50%) of Coordinator oftheGRDC National Grower Network (NGN), including responsibilities for:

- Supporting the GRDC team delivering the NGN nationally, including, where needed, logistics, communications, reporting and attendance at NGN events.
- Managing and reporting on the National NGN budget and relevant KPI metrics.
- Coordinating engagement within GRDC - staff and Regional Panels.
- Maintaining and supporting the NGN processes and artefacts.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Demonstrated minimum 5 years sound knowledge of related industry experience in agricultural RD&E.
- Demonstrated experience in facilitation of cross-discipline interactions in a relevant industry;
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for a wide range of audiences
- Ability to work autonomously and in collaborative teams
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and re-prioritise as required (experience in a project-based environment desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively to deliver positive outcomes
- Previous experience in positively managing professional relationships
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A high degree of resilience
- Be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Qualification in Science, Agricultural Science, or equivalent industry experience.
- Must be prepared to travel as and when required
- Must have a valid Australian Drivers Licence as deemed necessary.
- Must be willing to undergo all Pre-employment Medical checks
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
