We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Warehouse Assistant/Operator preferably with an immediate start to join our team in Scoresby VIC.

**The Role**:
Reporting to the VIC Warehouse Manager the key responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Maintain a safe workspace and always adhere to the Company OH&S requirements.
- Pick and Pack orders and unloading containers
- Book freight utilizing the internal system
- Assist with manufacturing of custom products (height bars, ezy rail, stair nosing)
- Performing warehouse inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits
- Constantly work to improve processes and identify errors and report it to the Manager
- Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring physical stock is in line with the inventory management system and ensure all stock movements are recorded to ensure accuracy.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact failure/cost of poor quality
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilization.

Follow quality service standards and comply with internal procedures.

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience working in a warehouse and enjoys working in a warehouse environment
- Work under guidance and within a small team environment, but also have the ability to self-manage
- Strong Work Ethics, vibrant and energetic
- Good computer skills is a must (Warehouse system training will be provided)
- Passionate about providing the best customer service experience
- Able to work under pressure to meet replenishment targets
- To be efficient ,physically fit, reliable and punctual
- Manual handling loading and unloading
- Australian Drivers License & Forklift License mandatory
- Right to work in Australia

**Salary**: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 2 years (required)
