**About the role**:
Exciting opportunity available at our Noble Park steel manufacturing and distribution site

We are seeking safety-focused individuals who are motivated to join InfraBuild and build a career. Our Operators are responsible for setting up and operating machine tools to shape and form reinforced steel and castings to fine tolerances, using detailed drawings and specifications. On-the-job training will be provided and the more you learn the more you earn

Join a thriving market-leading production network as a Machine Operator at our Noble Park site.

Your key duties:

- Set up and operate various machines to cut, bend and straighten reinforcing bar for some of Australia’s largest and most prestigious construction projects.
- Achieve production targets by monitoring machine run rate and product quality
- Loading and unloading steel products using overhead cranes and forklifts
- Removing product from machinery to designated staging areas for delivery
- Maintaining effective communication and team work across operational teams
- Adhere to all InfraBuild safety procedures and programs
- Maintain good housekeeping practices
- Involvement in process improvement initiatives

**About your experience**:
To be successful in this role you will:

- Have previous experiences in Manufacturing, Production, or Machine Operation
- Hold a valid Forklift and/or overhead crane licence (desirable)
- Be keen to learn and undertake training to build a career with InfraBuild
- Be flexible and able to adapt to constant change in a fast-paced environment
- Have a continuous improvement mindset - how can we do things better?
- Be safety focused and look out for yourself and fellow peers
