**Clerk Grade 11/12 Salary - $139,787 - $161,663 pa, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading**

**Your role**

Reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer, you will be working in collaboration with the expanded team to meet compliance, governance, audit and reporting requirements.

**What you’ll do**

As part of the Procurement team with Finance and Procurement Services division, the Manager, Governance Audit and Reporting leads and directs a team to ensure compliance with the provision of procurement services, including procurement planning, development, sourcing, contract and risk management activities.

You are responsible for, but not limited to:

- Lead the monitoring and compliance function to ensure policies, procedures, systems and performance management frameworks for all procurement related activity to ensure a high level of professional practice and deliver compliant, effective and efficient
- Encourage innovative practices, achieve delivery of business outcomes and support policy directions

- Encourage innovative practices, achieve delivery of business outcomes and support policy directions
- Develop Procurement performance and business reports that align with corporate and state plans, and to maintain and extend the Department's procurement accreditation
- Lead and coordinate audit activities and ensure ongoing compliance with the NSW Procurement Policy Framework

**What we’re looking for**

To be successful in the role, you will demonstrate:

- Proven senior leadership experience.
- A strong understanding of the contemporary issues and challenges related to Governance, Audit and reporting requirements
- Tertiary qualification relating to procurement or finance and/or relevant knowledge and experience in government procurement.
- Extensive knowledge, experience and understanding of NSW Government Procurement processes.
- Experience working in a challenging and multifaceted complex organisation.
- Ability to manage relationships with a diverse range of key stakeholders.
