Category Officer

**Some of your responsibilties will include**:
- Assist team members to implement category management across the spend categories managed by the Chief Procurement Office and TMR's Procurement Hubs.
- Assist in the development and delivery of category strategies by undertaking research and carrying out analysis of data sources such as: category spend and demand analysis; benefits realisation; supplier and market intelligence and performance.
- Support team members to maintain strategic supplier relationships by undertaking operational category management activities, including account managing suppliers, catalogue management and TMR centralised orders under Whole of Government arrangements.
- Develop, foster, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and work collaboratively and cross functionally to implement specific organisational strategies aimed at TMR and whole of government procurement objectives.
- Work across teams to ensure information within departmental registers, pipelines and information repositories is accurately maintained to inform ongoing planning while focusing on customer centric approach.
