**About the role**
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team in the role of Transport Supervisor. As a Transport Supervisor, you will support in the operational daily execution within the transport scope and in conjunction with Transport Operations Manager. This includes trailer allocation, operational supervision and coordination of the delivery execution and third-party carriers, coordination and monitoring of safety outcomes and processes, DC coordination.

**Key responsibilities include**:
- Manage & supervise the performance of the daily Transport operations to meet service targets safely and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
- Ensure all allocations and dispatch operations are performed at the highest service levels, whilst utilising cost saving initiatives
- Support Transport Operations Manager with arranging weekly and daily labour, vehicle and other equipment and transport requirements to maximise efficiency
- Promote and maintain a high standard of safety and provide a healthy work environment
- Complete administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure all operations are conducted in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements
**Who we’re looking for**
We’re seeking a highly motivated, passionate individual with:
- Deep understanding of transport operations (including allocation & schedules)
- Strong planning and problem solving skills including the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Operations/Distribution Centre Operations will be advantageous in this role
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills & computer skills
- A high level of interpersonal skills, including excellent conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems such as WMS, TMS & Google suite
- Support in maintaining a positive and light culture in the team
