- **We are on the search for a Quantity Surveyor to join our clients growing team**

Our client has made a significant contribution to some of Sydney’s largest and most significant infrastructure projects delivered in recent years, including Sydney Light Rail, Parramatta Light Rail, Sydney Metro, Western Sydney Airport, and the New Sydney Fish Markets.

They have built a strong reputation as a trusted and reliable provider of utilities and civil infrastructure and made a name for themselves by delivering on what they promise and getting it done with integrity, reliability, and proficiency.

**Who will you be working with?**
Our client is a leading constructor of utilities and civil infrastructure. They are a multi-disciplined contractor with the in-house resources and the capabilities to deliver all aspects of their projects.

They own and operate a large fleet of plant and equipment and employ a large, diverse workforce that has extensive experience delivering large and complex utilities and civil infrastructure projects.

**What will you be doing?**
- Management of complex cost reimbursable contracts across the projects;
- Evaluate and negotiate contractual claims with sub-contractors and assist project managers in the procurement of contracts; and
- Successfully coordinate efficient delivery in the management of contract documentation.
- Verify that the correct process is followed for setting up bank guarantees so that cash retention isnot taken from projects.
- Setup monthly reporting templates, contract notice templates, EOT templates, project procurement budget and Variation registers to ensure that project team are aware of thecommercial process and contractual obligations.

**What do you need?**
- Be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying/or hold relevant tertiary qualifications
- Have demonstrated experience in all aspects of quantity surveying
- Have demonstrated experience with civil or utility infrastructure projects
- Be accurate and attentive to detail
- High attention to detail, information process and problem solving capability
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High levels of motivation and excellent time management and organisational skills
