Our Sydney team is growing, and we are currently looking for a motivated and collaborative Project Administrator to support out dynamic business. This exciting newly created opportunity will provide key operational and project support to our team of environmental professionals.

**About the role**

This newly created position will be an integral part of our administration team, providing key operational and project support to our growing team of environmental professionals based in North Sydney, and supporting our other offices as required.

Day-to-day this role will have the following primary responsibilities:

- Word processing - editing and formatting a variety of documents from letters and proposals to large, complex, multi-volume reports.
- General administration (meet and greet visitors, call screening, maintaining office supplies etc.)
- Scheduling meetings and appointments
- Manage office premises, equipment, and procedures
- Invoice allocation
- Travel bookings and mobilisation assistance including induction requirements
- Providing general administrative support to the Sydney team and to other teams/offices as directed by the National Administration Manager

**About you**

We are looking for an experienced Project Administrator who can handle anything from proof reading and formatting documents to solving logístical problems. This is an administration-based role that will require you to provide operational and project support to our team of environmental professionals.

- Competent administrative skills with an eye for detail and ability to follow through on delegated office support tasks
- Ability to be people-oriented, and communicate effectively, both in person and on the telephone
- Sensitivity to differing cultures and people, and to their values and beliefs
- The initiative and personal skills to work co-operatively and contribute within a team environment
- Experience in a service driven organisation, in an administrative capacity
- A focus on customer service and collaborative business relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated computer skills in Word, Excel, Adobe acrobat, including word processing and spreadsheet use as well as compilation of documents using Adobe
- Experience in using Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
- An understanding of finance and budgeting
- Commitment to workplace health and safety requirements
- An ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with a range of stakeholders including internal and external clients
- Excellent proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ownership and accountability for deliverables
- Valid Australian Drivers licence
