The Role
In this full-time permanent role, based in Richmond, you will be part of the Faciltiies team and report to the Facilties manager. In this role you will be responsible for:
planning, coordinating, auditing and reviewing the activities and all elements of the corrective maintenance and in-house inspection processes via self-managed employees within the workshop team
coordinating all minor operational expenditure (Opex) and capital expenditure (Capex) projects assigned to the Richmond Facilities team
**You will make an impact by**:
Supervising and validating the inhouse building trades team and accuratley ensure that all woks (reactive and preventative) shall have Work Orders and/or Purchase Orders issued prior to contractors (suppliers) are appointed
Superiving the inhouse building trades team to perform CM and PM tasks
Recording and tracking 'out of scope' Opex and Capex works to substantiate monthly P&L expenditure
Being available for unforeseen after-hours call-outs in emergency/crisis situations with respect to building services and maintenance
Provinding day-to-day functional management support, mentoring and training to direct reports
Working hands on as a team member to ensure project or activity completion
Actively liaising and consulting with relevant staff members and external contractors to ensure effective communication is maintained
Communicating, motivating and directing within the facilities team and direct/indirect reports
Assisting in the review of Supplier contracts and providing recommendations for improvement
Actively working and completing tasks assigned by the Facilities Manager
To be successful in this role
You will have
Building trades qualification or equivalent experience in a Facilties Coordinator/Supervision role (or similar)
5 years working in a facilities environment
Computer literacy and proficiency in programs such as Microsoft Office
Organisational, prioritisation and time management skills
Ability to work well as a member of different teams
Ability to work with managers to ensure high utilisation of available technology
Good communication, influencing, interpersonal and relationship management skills
Demonstrated initiative and management of resources to meet the organisational requirement for cost efficient services whilst maintaining the safety of patients, visitors and staff
Contribution to the development of a cohesive, facilitative and inclusive team-based culture, embracing high levels of service orientation towards all stakeholders
A 'can-do' attitude and solutions focussed approach with a proven track record in meeting KPI's and project management
Ability to manage differing and sometimes conflicting needs
A commitment to working towards Epworth's mission and values and delivering on our strategic plan
Availability to be on call as per site roster
