**You will**:

- Inspect blasting areas for conditions affecting the shot
- Co-ordinate equipment and people to deliver the blast to firing time
- Be familiar with a range of non-electric and electric blasting products and bulk products
- Understand timing for quality results
- Management of the magazine and stocktakes
- Co-ordination of signage, clearance and notification for the blast
- Oversee the on-the-job training and safe work compliance of the shot crew members
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, engineers and client
- Safe use, transport and handling of explosives on site

**Experience required**:

- More than 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Current Unrestricted Shotfirer's Licence
- Current Dangerous Goods Security Clearance
- Australian Drivers licence, with ability to achieve HR licence within 3 months.
