**The role**

We are looking for an ambitious Engineer to lead the development and management of our water and wastewater hydraulic models.

As the Strategic Planning Network Modeller, you'll play a crucial role in providing technical support and information to various stakeholders, including Asset Planning team members, Property Services, and Operations. Your responsibilities will span the development, advancement, and maintenance of hydraulic models, as well as the management of augmentation plans. You'll lead initiatives aimed at enhancing network resilience, all while navigating increasingly stringent regulatory requirements.

**What you’ll bring**
- Hands-on experience in infrastructure management, with a focus on water and sewerage hydraulic modelling, showcasing your expertise in this domain.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- A track record of successful stakeholder engagement.
- Self-motivation and a proactive approach to embracing innovative solutions.
- Understanding of risk management processes.
- Understanding of the risks to water and sewerage infrastructure.

- At least five years' experience working in a technical role in infrastructure management specifically related to water and sewerage hydraulic modelling.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills combined with proficient verbal, written and presentation skills ensuring the ability to work effectively with people at all organisational levels and external customers.
- Experience to liaise with and gain cooperation from other employees, consultants, other authorities and contractors.
- Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to embrace innovative solutions and challenge technical policies and standards to achieve goals.
- Demonstrated ability to lead hydraulic modelling advancement projects.
