The role will report to the Health Safety and Wellbeing Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our staff. The role will be key to implementing our new Manual Handling coaching program aimed at reducing the manual handling risks to our staff

**Why we want you;**
- You will hold a relevant qualification in Allied Health or OHS and manual handling expertise
- Training and Coaching experience and you are passionate about it
- Advanced knowledge of clinical and non-clinical manual handling theory and principles
- Knowledge and experience of clinical resident manual handling techniques
- Familiarity and experience with a wide range of manual handling equipment including Mechanical lifting equipment.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
- Good understanding of modern adult learning principles.
- You will hold a current Victorian driver’s license, as you will need to travel to the 31 residences we have all over Victoria.

**What your days will look like;**
- Facilitate engaging manual handling training that suits the needs of a varied audience and leads to attitude and behavioural change, and improved performance and safety on-the-job.
- Conduct competency testing on a core set of manual handling techniques and principles
- Able to use multi-media assets and audio video resources; including Microsoft Teams or similar.
- Learning Management System training completion and competency assessment reporting.
- Identify areas within course design for continuous improvement.
- Assist with instructional design and training development, including the development of teaching aids such as training handbooks, step guides, multimedia visual aids, and computer tutorials
- Monitor and use learning evaluation and analytics reports to improve the learning experience and program effectiveness.
- Training needs assessment prior to visiting residences
