**About the Organisation**
Our client is an independent statutory agency that is responsible for supporting a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a significant and permanent disability and their families and carers.

**About the Team**
The Delivery and Change Office Branch is responsible for developing the Agency Corporate Plan and monitoring the delivery of the annual work priorities, including insights on progress against the plan to ensure the delivery of outcomes that benefit participants.

The branch also supports the Agency by deploying specialist project and change management resources to drive implementation of priority initiatives.

The branch designs change management activities to ensure effective implementation of prioritised initiatives based upon assessing the impacts of change on staff, participants, partners, providers and other stakeholders.

**About the Role**
The EL1 Change Manager is accountable under direction to undertake work with a high level of complexity that has strategic, political and operational significance.

The position will be responsible for analysis and insight development and translating strategy development, policies, and priorities for operational implementation. The position will have responsibility to actively assess, design and deploy transformational change management activities across initiatives of significant complexity. Additionally, the role is responsible for supporting and managing key internal stakeholder relationships to effectively embed change across the Agency. It will provide the leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the project team.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Gathering and developing structured insights and recommendations for change design and implementation of projects.
- Developing, implementing and evaluating project and change management requirements in accordance with the Project Delivery Framework and Change Management Framework.
- Creating materials for senior internal and external stakeholders, including the Minister, Board and Executive Leadership Team to communicate perspectives, recommendations and implications for the Agency.
- Presenting recommendations and facilitating discussions with a range of Agency stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Identifying, assessing and reporting change risks or issues.
- Developing action plans and ensuring stakeholder alignment to enable successful implementation.
- Leading the tracking and evaluation of change management activities in the Agency and proposing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Influencing and advising project sponsors on how to effectively manage and implement change

**Desirable Experience**:

- 2-6 years experience in transformation, design, change management and project management
- Change and/or Project Management qualifications
- Demonstrated success delivering against key performance indicators and delivering results within agreed timeframed
- Experience working in complex cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated success in building momentum for and delivery of change activity
- Emotional intelligence in working with stakeholders and leaders at all levels of the organisation
- Experience of living with disability
