Maintenance Planner

**About the Role**:
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for the integrity of all data in the CMMS system and the effective use of this data to achieve high efficiencies and effectiveness of the entire maintenance department at the facility in Chullora. This role will have primary responsibility for maintenance planning and scheduling to ensure the effectiveness through workload allocation and control.
**Responsibilities include (but not limited to)**:
- Facilitate, maintain and ensure maintenance department activities and special projects are planned and executed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure schedules are accurate & comprehensive.
- Audit plant & implement accurate plant numbering system.
- Develop bill of materials for plant items.
- Develop & keep updated tasks, schedules within the CMMS system.
- Implement, Audit & continually update the master maintenance plan, seeking input from all stakeholders to ensure its accuracy.
- Manage maintenance requests, through the correct maintenance request procedure implemented.
- Capacity planning and loading.
- Capture all maintenance requests into CMMS system.
- Plan & acquire all resources needed for tasks in conjunction with Supervisors.
- Forecast available resources for future periods together with Supervisors.
- Forecast all maintenance work to be performed with Supervisors and assist in prioritising all tasks with
- Highlight deficiencies in capacity & possible negative impacts on maintenance performances.
- Capture all downtime data and all cost data in relation to the tasks being undertaken.
- Breakdown information analysis
- Initiate and assist with root cause analysis of reoccurring breakdown issues
- Participate in RCA and investigations Maintenance performance data analysis
**About you**:
- Trade background
- Mechanical / Electrical aptitude is essential
- Previous experience with continuous high-speed processing and/or packaging equipment in a food production environment or relevant experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Computer literacy, CMMS knowledge/experience.
- Astute negotiating, problem solving and decision-making ability
- Superior time management, planning and organisational skills and attention to detail
- Collaborative team player, driven to achieve results/efficiency.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and overtime in line with the business requirements
