**The Position**:
We are seeking a dedicated, humble and enthusiastic Assistant Pastor to join our growing ministry team. We are passionate about people serving out of their Spirit given gifts and so the Assistant Pastor role will have the **option to choose from two out of three ministry areas: Gatherings, Evangelism or Discipleship.** This role will involve working closely with the Lead Pastor and other ministry leaders to pursue the vision and mission of the church.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Option 1: Gatherings (Magnification)**
- Designs and implements gatherings which engage members of the church to joyfully worship God and build one another up.
- Oversee the gathering flow, music teams, song selection and creative elements that align with the church's values and theology.

**Option 2: Evangelism (Mission)**
- Develop and implement a missional strategy to reach our local community with the gospel by empowering members to share their faith and boldly invite.
- Oversee Explore courses, baptisms, mission partners and celebrating stories of people becoming Christians.

**Option 3: Discipleship (Maturity)**
- Fostering an environment of spiritual growth among church members by promoting spiritual disciplines and initiatives to help cultivate peoples love of the Word and deepen their relationship with Christ.
- Oversee Growth Groups, leadership development, sermon series and mentoring opportunities.
- Occasional preaching and leading of Sunday services
- Collaborate with the ministry team to plan and organise special events and Sundays.
- Involvement in weddings, baptism and funerals where needed.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- A genuine and growing relationship with Jesus Christ as demonstrated through character, lifestyle and convictions.
- A degree in theology and demonstrated commitment to Reformed Evangelical Christian values.
- Previous experience in pastoral ministry within a church setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, able to empower others in their gifts and can have fun.
- Skilled and passionate in at least two of the following: gatherings, evangelism or discipleship.
