As a Student Advisor (Wellbeing and Inclusion), you will play a vital role in advocating for reasonable adjustments and resources to ensure equitable access to higher education. You will collaborate across our Safer Communities and Disabilities and Accessibility teams to promote student success with a focus on diversity, inclusivity and wellbeing.
**What You’ll Be Doing**
In this dynamic role, you will:
- Provide culturally safe and trauma-informed case management for reported concerns related to unwanted behaviours (bullying, discrimination, harassment, assault, etc.), offering advice and support for incident management.
- Offer information and support to prospective and current students, as well as University staff, regarding student’s rights and the University’s responsibilities in supporting diversity and inclusion.
- Assess the impact of personal circumstances and identify eligibility for internal and external support services.
- Contribute to the development of consistent incident assessment processes and intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop training programs and resources aimed at building a safe and inclusive UniSQ community.
- Contribute to the evaluation of outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the implementation of the Safer Communities Action Plan key activities.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and personal conduct, aligning with the University values.
**Who We Are Looking For**
- A degree qualification in social work, psychology, human services, law, or related fields.
