An exciting opportunity has opened up for you to join the Rural City of Murray Bridge in the role of **Swimming Centre Manager**. This role is integral Murray Bridge Community by providing access to a safe swimming space and all the fun of a waterslide. You will lead a young dynamic team where your opportunity to develop and coach our future young leaders will be just one of your great skills.

**A bit about you**

You will know that promoting safe participation in aquatic activity at the Murray Bridge Swimming Centre is critical, but you will also ensure we not only meet every tick and cross required to maintain an unquestionable level of safety and compliance for both staff, community and facilities, but you will drive a sense of pride and passion for great customer service, best practice and positive community experiences. You will need to be motivated, enthusiastic, innovative, outcomes-driven and be responsible for the operational, financial and program deliverables. You will develop and drive the outcomes of the management plan with your team and through engagement with key stakeholders of Council. You will take ownership of coordinating the day-to-day management, programming and technical operations of the Murray Bridge Swimming Centre and will have the management and leadership skills with which you can plan for the future, develop objectives and explore new directions for the Councils facility.

**The role**

Reporting directly to the Manager City Assets, this full-time fixed term position is offered in accordance with the South Australian Municipal Salaried Officers Award and Council’s current Enterprise Agreement. Your team consists of lifeguards, duty managers and assistant manager. You are supported by the administrative and asset teams of the RCMB and will form part of the broader Infrastructure and Assets team. **A bit about us**

The Rural City of Murray Bridge is a local government area with a population of around 22,600 people, located 75km from Adelaide. We support, coordinate and maintain accessible, high-quality facilities to meet the diverse needs of children, families and community groups within the region. The Murray Bridge Swimming Centre boasts a heated 50 metre pool with accessible ramp, a half shaded medium sized learner’s pool and a fully shaded small toddler's pool. The Centre also boasts a fantastic Water Play Park with five waterslides for kids, fun toddler's water features, and a massive 48 metre SupaSlide for teenagers and adults

**Who we are looking for**:

- ** A track record of success in working in the aquatics industry**:

- ** High level knowledge and experience in the management and the operation of aquatic recreation facilities and services**:

- ** Proven skills in aquatic program planning and delivery**

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a track record of success and experience working in the aquatics industry in a management role and have the necessary clearances and licenses to manage an aquatics facility as per our seek criteria.
