Telecommunications Cabler

Bettatech Services is a telecommunications company based in Ballarat that has been operating since 1992, providing a wide range of services to business and government customers throughout Victoria.

We provide services including Structured Cabling, Telephone Backbone and Optic Fiber.

We also install and service iPECS IP & Cloud Systems & NEC Phone Systems.

We are looking for a punctual, detail focused and reliable telecommunications cabler with a strong work ethic to join our team.

Bettatech are Molex and Commscope Netconnect (Krone) Certified Installers. The successful applicant will also complete vendor training for these companies.

The role will involve regular travel which is paid both ways. The successful applicant will not be required to use their own vehicle. The role will consist of regular work in Department of Justice, Government and Prison locations. The role will suit someone living in the Ballarat area.

Successful police checks with no reportable outcomes will be required to work in these locations.

- Open Cabling Registration

**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- Data cabling, termination and testing
- Telecommunications backbone installation, termination and testing
- Optic Fiber installation, termination and testing
- Fault finding and rectification

**Salary**: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Cabling: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- White Card (preferred)
- Full Driver Licence (required)
- Construction Induction White Card? (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Ballarat, VIC (preferred)
