**About the role**:
A vacancy exists in the above unit for a highly motivated Dental Officer with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. Our progressive and innovative team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high quality patient centred care.
This position would suit a recent graduate who must have at least two years of current clinical experience in Dentistry. The position is part time, 2 days per week (16 hours) (Mondays & Fridays) and is for a 12 month contract only.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
- Must be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)
- A recent graduate from a dental faculty with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
- Experience in general restorative dentistry and in minor oral surgery
- Effective written verbal and computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team
- Detailed knowledge of infection control procedures and demonstrated capability in patient assessment, clinical skills and adult oral health education
- Knowledge of quality improvement principles
