DQC is looking for support workers to join our family, specifically support workers available for transportation services.

**Job description**: If offered the position, you would be offered a range of different supports and clients to work with. These can include transporting clients to and from work, appointments, etc, escorting clients to extracurriculers, morning shifts, afternoon shifts and sleepover shifts.

**Location**: North Canberra and South Canberra

**Selection Criteria**:

- **Must** have experience in mental health and/or disabilities
- **Must** have the ability to address triggers and redirect
- Any relevant qualifications but not essential
- Excellent Communication skills

**You must have**:

- A strong desire to provide high quality client service and build meaningful relationships with recipients;
- Ability to provide assistance with housework including meals preparation and domestic leaning;
- Highly professional and able to act in a compassionate, non-judgemental manner;
- Flexibility and ability to be adaptive;
- A valid National Police Check (issued within 3 month period) or willing to undergo a National Police Check
- Certificate - NDIS Worker Orientation Online module
- Certificate - NDIS Health Infection Control Online Module
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Drives license
- Current Car Registration
- Current Car Insurance
