**The Opportunity**

This brand new ASIO Finance Graduate Program is a dynamic 12-month program with intakes in both early and mid-2024.

The program will showcase the breadth of finance work that ASIO undertakes and set you on a pathway for a career with purpose. It is designed for you, to give you the ASIO experience while making a difference to help shape the protection of Australia and Australians.

We are seeking university students who will have completed their degree before the intake commences, or graduates from the past three years, who are looking for meaningful careers in Finance.

Fields of study we are looking for include, but are not limited to:

- Finance
- Commerce
- Accounting
- Business

Over 12 months, we will guide and mentor you, enabling you to further develop your skills and knowledge and support you to contribute to ASIO's mission. You will undertake placements across a number of business areas giving you opportunities to work alongside colleagues throughout the organisation.

On successful completion of the program, you will be promoted to the AE5 level (APS5 equivalent).

- A competitive salary, including a 7.5 % allowance for maintaining a Top Secret security clearance at the highest level (we don't expect you to have an existing clearance and will support you through the clearance process).

**Eligibility**
- Be an Australian citizen.
- Have completed your degree before the program commences, or graduated in the past three years.
- Be willing and able to relocate to Canberra (for interstate applicants).
- Be assessed as suitable to hold and maintain a Top Secret security clearance at the highest level.
