**About the role**
As a Farmhand you will be responsible for the following:

- Undertake agricultural agronomic activities including land preparation, irrigation installation (both flood and trickle) and operation, planting, harvesting, weeding, care and maintenance of field grain crops, horticultural crops and tree crops
- Provide operational support for research projects
- Work independently and with other staff, following instructions from Farm Supervisor and/or Facility Manager
- Work in a safe environment following OHS guidelines and the Code of Conduct
- Demonstrate initiative and responsibility by completing allocated tasks and activities to a high standard
- Contribute to scientific integrity by rigid adherence to scientific protocols and quality assurance principles

**About You**
- Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Farmhand
- Must be experienced in tractor operations
- Understanding and experience with chemical spraying desirable but not mandatory
