**Overview**

The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) will contribute to the provision of high standard clinical services to patients of Riverland General Hospital allocated to current department and in other clinical areas as required. The Resident Medical Officer will be responsible for managing the care of patients, in consultation with the responsible Registrars, Consultants, Visiting Specialists, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals. The incumbent will actively contribute to continuous quality improvement activities and education activities.

Must have a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.

There is more than 1 position available full time or part time. Hours of work to be negotiable and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
