This highly regarded Federal Government Department provides counselling and support services to members Australian Defence Force and their families. They are currently seeking an AHPRA or ASSW registered APS6 Counsellor to join their Elizabeth office, in Adelaide SA.

**Your new role**

As a Counsellor, you will provide high-quality, evidence based, clinical services including assessment, referral, individual, couple and family counselling, and case management to eligible clients. You will also:

- Contribute to the development and delivery of programs, such as community development and service promotion.
- Maintain clinical records in line with the organisation’s standards. Collating and analysing data from client records and preparing reports to assist in evaluating and improving service delivery.
- Ensuring counselling and other services provided by the organisation are accessible to all eligible clients in rural and outer metropolitan areas.
- Liaising and forming partnerships with other government departments, ex-service organisations, community health and welfare agencies, and all other organisations involved in meeting the identified needs of veteran and defence force communities and families.
- Participate and engage in ongoing learning, professional development activities and maintenance of professional status.
- Contribute to research and project management activities that implement strategic directions, and recommendations for ongoing development of clinical policies and procedures.

**What you'll need to succeed***
- Australian Citizenship.
- Current Working with Children (WWCC), Vulnerable People, and National Police Checks, or willing to obtain.
- Qualifications as an AHPRA registered Psychologist / Mental Health Occupational Therapist / Mental Health Registered Nurse OR
- Qualification as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker.
