**Position Information**:
Glendale East Public School is located in northern Lake Macquarie with an enrolment of 234 students. Our school’s vision statement, developed by all stakeholders is; ‘through genuine partnerships, every child achieves their full potential every day’. 22% of the student population identify as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent and 4% are from language backgrounds other than English. Our school has strong partnerships with the Kumaridha AECG to support our Aboriginal students and families. The school has a Family Occupational Employment Index ranking above 115 and maintains high standards for student learning and behaviour. The parents and community of Glendale East Public School have high educational expectations for their children and our P & C contribute significantly to the school. **Selection Criteria**:

- Approval to teach primary library (K-6) or currently undertaking Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education with the ability to develop and deliver high quality release from face-to-face programs.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues to deliver innovative teaching across different Key Learning Areas, inclusive of Information Communication Technology (ICT) and through the use of the Oliver Library Management System in a stimulating library learning environment.
- Understanding the needs of a diverse range of students with learning and behavioural difficulties with a demonstrated capacity to support all students.
- Highly developed communication, organisation and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, parents and the wider community, and contribute positively to whole school culture.
