Plantmark’s operations include one large-scale production nursery and seven Wholesale Trade Markets with sales and distribution in Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland.
**Description**:
Key responsibilities
Reporting to the Trade Market Manager, the role involves hands on sales and customer service, along with plant consultation, scanning stock, processing payments and liaising with suppliers. Also required are general nursery duties including weeding, watering, merchandising, grounds maintenance and using trade equipment.
The position is full time, working a five-day roster Monday to Friday plus occasional added weekend watering duties.
**Business operational hours are**: Weekdays 7.00 am - 5.00 pm and Saturdays 8.00am - 4.00pm.
Plantmark offers a four week induction and training program, with face to face learning and online courses presenting a roadmap for success in the role.
**Skills and Experiences**:
Essential attributes
To be successful as a Plantmark Trade Market Sales and Service person, you will have:
- Passion for plants with a knowledge of Botanical plant identification and/or horticulture experience highly desirable.
- High level customer service skills with a proactive approach to solving queries.
- Confident computer ability at intermediate standards.
- Accountability for tasks with a sense of urgency and a keen eye for detail.
- Positive work ethic with ability to effectively work unsupervised as well as in a team.

Applicants must also be capable of performing regular heavy lifting tasks and be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
