**About Us**

Link2U Services are an NDIS registered provider that assist NDIS participants through a range of support services including Supported Independent Living (SIL), Social and Community Participation and Support Coordination, to increase their independence by working with the participant and their carer, family and network of services to build their capacity and achieve their NDIS goals.

**About the Role**:
Due to the expansion of our clientele and services, we are seeking a skilled disability support worker to assist in meeting the outcomes and goals of our participants. You will ideally have experience in supporting people with complex behavioural and communication needs and personal care. In addition, your caring nature, personality and people skills will further assist you to ensuring successful outcomes and building rapport with the participant, their families and other therapists involved in their support circle.

Ideally, you will have open availability during the week to work 8-hour shifts either day, evening or overnight (sleepover) in our **SIL group homes** located across western Sydney. You will also be required to have your own vehicle and a valid NSW license.

We are also seeking **social and community support workers** to work with our participants in the community working 5-hour shifts during weekdays. You will be required to have your own vehicle and a valid NSW license.

The successful applicant will join an enthusiastic and experienced team who are motivated to make change and improve participants quality of life.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Experience supporting participants with Intellectual Disability, ADHD, Autism, Mental Health conditions or other complex behaviour conditions (unpaid experience will be considered)
- Experience with personal care.
- A qualification in disability, aged care or similar (preferred)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC number required or willingness to obtain)
- Covid 19 Vaccinations - 4 doses (as permitted by NSW Health Services)
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
- Great Team Player and Work Ethics
- Physically fit and energetic
- Knowledge of Policy and Procedures
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Compassionate, caring, empathetic and patient
- Good computer skills
- Smart Phone
- Reliable and punctual

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Assist participant to access the community
- Motivate and build the participants daily living skills
- Build rapport between the participant and family
- Engage and support the participant with their interests
- Implement positive role modelling
- Collaborate with team members
- Complete required shift duties, reporting and shift procedures
- Build effective relationships with participants, their families and support network
