Gold Coast, Australia Oral Art Dental Ceramics Full time

A dental laboratory specializing in crowns, bridges and implants on the Gold Coast is looking to recruit a dental technician with experience in CADCAM. The position is unique, where we require someone to use their experience to design digitally with the CAD systems provided. We are a boutique dental lab that focuses on innovation and technology to produce the best product and with our scanner and milling machine, we are designing and milling in-house. Unfortunately, this is not a graduate position, as we require an experienced technician that can complete tasks independently.

The position is for a technician with a minimum of 2 years experience with CAD/CAM designing and milling using 3shape Dental Systems, as well as being familiar with in-house 3D printing equipment with a good understanding of digital workflow, implant system and the ability to import and interpret cases from digital files, is essential for this position.

**Your responsibilities include**:

- A Dental Technician qualification
- At least 2- 3 years experience as a Dental Technician
- Expert skills in 3 Shape
- Troubleshoot issues
- Log all repair jobs and maintenance activities
- Scrutinize designs to identify flaws prior to machining
- Administer revisions to rectify anomalies, discrepancies, inconsistencies or irregularities
- Ensure appropriate geometric tolerances are entirely correct
- Use 3D measuring instruments
- Excellent communication skills
- Expert understanding of dental anatomy and implantology
- Steadfast focus on precision
- Ability to problem solve and stay calm under pressure
- Highly motivated team player with a positive attitude

Salary would depend on skills and experience but could range from $50,000.00 - $70,000 per year.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Education**:

- High School (Year 9-11) (preferred)
