**Leading Australia fund requires a permanent Reporting Analyst for their Sydney CBD office.**
The Reporting Analyst is responsible for internal and external reporting, undertaking analysis, and supporting strategic improvements as part of regulatory, contractual and management reporting requirements.
**On a daily basis you will**:
- Developing, analysing, and maintaining a suite of reports to facilitate various reporting requirements to management, the Board, and external bodies.
- Supporting a commitment to excellent customer service delivery by identifying areas of improvement through data analysis and reporting processes.
- Providing reporting and insights into organisational performance.
- Developing enhanced reporting suites.
- Delivery of regulatory, contractual and management reporting requirements.
- Providing IT support, including technical support.
- Supporting existing databases and new ones if the business decides to implement one.
- Assisting staff when required.
- Providing guidance or assistance to other team members where appropriate or requested.
**To succeed in this role, you will have**:
- Relevant Bachelor's degree (e.g. Data science, Data analytics, Computer Science).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a reporting, analytics, or data scientist role.
- Background in Data Warehousing (Essential)
- Demonstrated experience in scripting including stored procedures or relevant scripting language.
- Experience in business process modelling / analysis across multiple platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to drive business improvements using data evidence to support practice changes.
- Relevant industry qualifications (scripting languages, Microsoft tools Fabric/SharePoint etc).
- Sound knowledge in Power BI and SQL language.
- Filemaker Pro experience is highly desirable.
**A hybrid work model is in place.**
