Join the customer service team of a National manufacturer as the Pricing Analyst supporting the Sales and Customer Service teams.

Your role will include but not limited too:

- Update the product price database, for each Business unit, with revisions or new pricing determinations.
- Respond to various requests from the Business Unit Sales forces & Customer Service Team members.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, as required.
- Support Sales and Customer Service with cost/price analysis of positions.
- Provide profit and margin analysis on established price lists quarterly and as required.
- Develop & Manage formulas for mark-ups / downs and the value / price model process.
- Assist in competitive price research and the maintenance of competitive price data.
- Flag any potential price issues as early as possible.
- Complete regular pricing reviews including review of historical pricing data.
- Analyse and evaluate pricing issues/ opportunities.
- Develop recommended selling prices for new and existing products by gathering and analysing cost information and estimates that may comprise the basis for a future pricing estimates to assist Sales / Business Units to develop an accurate, supportable proposal.

To be successful in the role you will have:

- A good level of understanding of fundamental concepts & processes in customer service administration.
- Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented, analytical, self-motivated team player.
- Ability to handle high volume and time sensitive transactions.
- Ability to collaborate across functional areas including, sales, customer service, orders & delivery coordination.
- Ability to work on & across teams & projects as well as independently.
- Strong quantitative skills & a general affection for Excel.
- Knowledge of best practice pricing processes & database(s)/types.
- Experience with value-based pricing and pricing research techniques.
- Solid business/commercial orientation & an understanding of competitive strategy.
- Ability to think and make decision independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills, fact-based reasoning and ability to be assertive.
- A real interest in developing & uti9lizing your analytical skills to problem solve to resolve issues and build on opportunities with pricing & product mix/matrix.
